  1. Hi Gwen,
My name is Grace. Through a very roundabout way, I have come across your site and I have to say–Andy Devine Takes a Wife was a fun read:) At least the little excerpt I was privy to. Work those adjectives and alliterations! haha Thanks for sharing!

  2. Gwen, I loved chatting with you on the Avon Addict’s page, and truly enjoyed WANTED: Wife! I’m excited to see a sequel coming up. I wish you the very best success with both, and all your writing dreams!

  3. Just read Wanted Wife, and I’m happy to say that I’ve found a new author to follow! Such a great read and I can’t wait to read Marcel’s story! Partly because I want to read more about Andy and Julie. 😊 When is Marcel’s coming out? Can’t wait 😉

    1. Aww…thank you very much for your kind comments. It really does mean a lot. It’s bizarre enough to see your name in print, but to then have someone really like it–wow! It’s a great feeling, so sincere thanks. As far as Marcel’s story goes, I hope you read what I posted on this site. You say you want to see more of Andy and Julie, but you must remember Marcel is Andy’s brother, so he’s just as hot, and I think you’re going to like Dani. As far as when it’s coming out, I’m working on it right now and hope to have it finished soon. Many thanks again! Gwen

  4. Hi Gwen. I just started Wanted: Wife and I was really taken aback. It’s not often you read about the Pines. I grew up in Indian Mills and my husband is from Lake Pine, Medford (we now live in Hammonton). So nice to read about South Jersey the way it should be written (not ANYTHING like central Jersey!). Even though we live close enough to drive there everyday, I’m off on vacation for a week in beautiful Ocean City, NJ. Love it!

    1. Hi Nikki!

So glad you like Wanted: Wife. I live on the very edge of the Pines myself, so close if I drive to the other end of my town I’m in it. I love it when I hear from someone who appreciates them as I do, and it’s so funny when you get someone outside the region that says “there’s wilderness in NU? Really??” Um, yeah. Please let me know what you think when you’re finished, and don’t forget to get some Johnson’s Popcorn while you’re in O.C. I get mine with peanuts!

      1. Johnson’s Popcorn, but of course! We take out bucket back each year to save a couple of $$s on the refill. My husband and I ride Harleys and the Pines are a great place to ride. Not too great at night though. Too many deer. I’m really enjoying the book. Will let you know when I’m done. 🙂

  5. Hi Gwen, My name is Maureen Pavlik. I don’t know if you will remember me from the NJRW conferences. I used to attend them for a number of years. To think I knew you when!! Now you are a published author—hooray!! One of us made it!! I am considering going to Fiction Fest. Maybe I will see you there!!

  6. Hi! I read a lot, at least 50 books in 2013 and I have to say yours was one of the most endearing books I read all year. I love Julie, Andy, Denny, Brent and Jinx. You made them all so real. The original story line was my favorite aspect, I had no idea what he was hiding and loved how she would have forgiven him if he would have been able to say he loved her. That’s how I would be, forgiving and ready to stay with him if only… I also loved how it was a sweet romantic read as well as having some well written intimate scenes. Hot and sweet in a tasteful way, the very best combo! I am so happy that others are reading and I wish you much sucess. I sent myself a calendar planner to look for your new book next summer so I don’t miss it. Happy New Year Gwen!!

  7. Hi Gwen, I really enjoyed reading Wanted: Wife. I love all the characters in the book.
One thing I found it a bit weird was at the end, they bought a used Jeep Patriot. For a man of considerable fortune, I would expect them to buy a new car. Other than that, I love every bit of the book. Cant wait for the release of Kiss Me Captain.

    1. Hi Pranata – I’m so happy you enjoyed “Wanted: Wife.” Andy’s brother Marcel’s story, “Kiss Me, Captain” will be out August 26, 2014. I sincerely hope you’ll enjoy that as much.

To answer your question about the Jeep: Andy’s a practical man, and if you haven’t gathered by now, not one to flaunt his money, even though he’s a man of considerable means. (Not so with Marcel, as you’ll soon see!) But moreover, they live in the deep woods, and to get to their farm they have to travel five miles on sandy roads through the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. It’s pretty remote out there, and the terrain is rough, so having a new car would soon turn it into a used one anyway. To see what I’m talking about visit this site: http://www.visitnj.org/pine-barrens.

      Again, thanks for reading!
      Gwen
